Āyurveda

Āyurveda

One who has a balanced diet, sound sleep, proper activity, and a calm mind attains health and longevity.

Charaka Samhita

Āyurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems, developed in India more than 5,000 years ago. The word “Āyurveda” means the science of life, and its wisdom teaches us how to live in balance with nature, maintain health, and prevent illness by harmonizing the body, mind, and spirit.

At the heart of Āyurveda are the three doṣas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — which represent unique combinations of the five great elements. Each person is born with a natural constitution, and when the doṣas are in balance, we experience vitality, clarity, and well-being. When they fall out of balance, stress, discomfort, and disease may arise.

An Āyurvedic consultation helps identify your constitution and imbalances through lifestyle, diet, daily routines, and natural remedies. Recommendations may include food choices, herbal support, cleansing practices, yoga, meditation, and seasonal adjustments.

Āyurveda is not just about treating symptoms — it is about discovering harmony in every aspect of life. By following its guidance, you learn to align with your natural rhythm, strengthen immunity, and cultivate energy that sustains both body and soul.
